Dr. Alexis Strode
Alexis Strode DVM, CCRP, Animal Chiropractor
Dr. Alexis Strode graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She practiced for 3 years in a suburb of Kansas City before moving back to the St. Louis area. During those first 3 years in practice Dr.Strode began training and competing with her Australian Shepherd in agility. She also began to notice the number of pets she saw in the clinic suffering from arthritis and mobility issues. It was hard to imagine her own dog, who lived for playing frisbee and moving, possibly facing that outcome as he got older. This sparked her interest in pain management, rehabilitation and alternative therapies.
Since then Dr. Strode has focused on those areas completing her Canine Rehabilitation Certification in 2019 and her Animal Chiropractic training in 2021. Dr. Strode is excited to partner with her clients and improve the quality of life, health and mobility for her patients through animal chiropractic care and rehabilitation therapies.
Outside of veterinary medicine she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, training her dogs and reading. Her fur family includes an Australian Shepherd, a Belgian Malinois, and 2 cats.
